STORING AND MAINTENANCE OF WOODEN BOATHOOKS
When not in use, store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. You should check the condition of your boathook regularly. If the boathook is fine but the varnish is damaged, please remove the varnish and apply 2-3 layers of urethane varnish.
