To improve the filtraction, the Mirka HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) Filter can be installed in addition to the standard filter. By adding this filter, users will experience a triple filtraction:
- Fleece Dustbag
- Standard Main Filter
- HEPA Filter
Mirka note that adding this filter will not make dust extractors - DE 1230/1242 - a H-class extractor, even though the filter itself fulfills HEPA class H13 requirements. It is recommended by Mirka that when installing a HEPA filter for the first time, the HEPA Filter Cover for DE 1230/1242 (8999100811) is used as a necessity.
