The Quick Sigmar Compact Calorifier is a high-quality marine water heater designed for reliable hot water production on boats and yachts. With a 22-litre capacity and 800W dual Incoloy® electric heating elements, this unit provides efficient and consistent hot water for domestic or engine-based systems.
Crafted with marine-grade materials, the tank and heat exchanger are made from AISI 316 stainless steel, ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion in harsh marine environments. The unit features 20mm polyurethane foam insulation and a durable plastic casing with integrated brackets, offering superior heat retention and easy installation.
The HC series is engineered specifically for horizontal bulkhead (wall) mounting. For correct operation, the cold water inlet must be connected to the lower port, with orientation determined by the builder depending on mounting side.
Safety and convenience are built in, including a 6-bar safety/non-return valve for discharge during periods of disuse, a regulating thermostat with double safety, and standard 1/2" engine and water fittings. Installation is simple, with clearly identified connections and a user-friendly instruction manual. The unit also comes with an electric cable with Schuko plug for easy connection to a 220V mains supply, and a contact thermostat is included to regulate an external heater if required.
